Udi
Manber, CEO
A9.com
Udi Manber
joined Amazon.com in November 2002 before opening and becoming
CEO of Amazon's search subsidiary, A9.com, in October 2003.
Formerly the chief scientist at Yahoo!, Udi has taught computer
science at both the University of Wisconsin and the University
of Arizona. He is the author of Introduction to "Algorithms:
A Creative Approach", as well as more than 50 technical
articles. He has developed several popular software packages
and won numerous research and teaching awards, including most
recently the 1999 USENIX Software Tools User Group Award for
"turning algorithms into tools for searching and resource
discovery." Udi graduated from the Technion in Israel
with a degree in Mathematics, and he received his PhD in Computer
Science from the University of Washington.

Millstein, SVP
Hearst Newspapers
Lincoln
Millstein is senior vice president of Hearst Newspapers and
director of digital media as of January 2005. Prior to this,
Mr. Millstein was executive vice president of New York Times
Digital since January 2000. Mr. Millstein had been group vice
president and publisher since August 1999 and was responsible
for overseeing New York Times Digital's regional Web sites,
including Boston.com and New York Today. Previously, he served
as vice president for new media at The Boston Globe since
January 1995 and added the title of CEO of Boston.com in 1998.
He is a 25-year newsroom veteran who made the transition to
the business side of the newspaper to help spearhead The Globe's
fledgling interactive division.
Mr. Millstein
spent 14 years in The Globe newsroom and held a variety of
positions, including features editor, business editor and
city editor. His last assignment in the newsroom was as managing
editor for features and new media. During his tenure, Mr.
Millstein developed several important sections in the newspaper,
including expansion of the Arts section to include the Movie
Section and the Music Section. He also developed The Globe
100 section of the top companies in Massachusetts in 1989.
Prior
to joining The Globe in 1983, Mr. Millstein spent 10 years
at The Hartford Courant both as a reporter and editor, including
business editor from 1981 to 1983. He won several awards for
his reporting of the aerospace and insurance industries while
at The Courant.

Paul
Reddick, VP
Sprint
As Vice
President for Business Development and Planning for Sprint's
Consumer Solutions division, Paul Reddick leads business development;
drives strategic planning for consumer markets; tracks critical
trends; and manages the development of integrated operational
plans. Before Sprint, he was with McKinsey and Company, Inc.,
where he led new business launches, divestitures, and operational
improvement initiatives. Earlier, he held technical and management
positions at Dow Chemical. He holds a BS in chemical engineering
from the University of Kansas, and an MBA from Stanford University.
