Before You Go

• Study the Agenda. Before you head to Santa Clara, we urge you to spend time reviewing the conference agenda, list of speakers and companies attending to help you set your priorities for when you’re at the conference. This event has no breakout sessions, which means you will be able to attend every one of the 18 valuable panels.
• Connect with Other Attendees Online. Join the Drilling Down on Local LinkedIn group. We’ve set up an online networking group for conference attendees on LinkedIn.com. Getting to the Santa Clara Marriott from Nearby Airports

• From San Jose International: The hotel is located three miles from the airport – a short taxi ($15) or bus (minimal cost) ride.
• From San Francisco International or Oakland International: A shuttle is available for $40 and a taxi for approximately $90.

During the Conference

• What to Wear. Conference attire is business casual, but dress will vary from black tee-shirt to black suit. Many speakers opt for traditional business attire.

• Table Topics. During conference lunches, look for discussion topic tent cards atop some of the luncheon tables. If you find a topic that interests you, simply pull up a chair and join the conversation.
• Internet Access. Internet stations will be set up outside the conference ballroom for attendee access. In addition, a section of the conference ballroom will be set up for laptop use. The hotel offers high-speed and WiFi Internet access for a fee in guest rooms.

After the Conference

• LinkedIn Group. Continue to utilize the Drilling Down on Local group on LinkedIn to connect with conference attendees after the conference.
• Virtual Conference. Within days after the conclusion of the conference, presentations from the event will be posted online on the Virtual Conference web site. We will e-mail all attendees the link to the Virtual Conference site as soon as it is live and ready for viewing.
