George
Burnett
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Dex Media, Inc.
George Burnett joined
Dex Media as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director upon
consummation of the Dex East Acquisition. He served as President
and Chief Executive Officer of Qwest Dex from February 2001 until
September 2003 and as of March 2004, serves as a Director and Chairman
of the Yellow Pages Integrated Media Association, YPIMA. He joined
Qwest as Chief Marketing Officer in August 2000. In 2000, he served
as President and CEO of the Mass Market Retail Group of American
Electric Power. Prior to holding that position, he spent six years
at AT&T as President of Local Services, General Manager of two
market segments and General Manager of Card and Operator Services.
In addition, he worked for 14 years at D’Arcy Masius Benton
and Bowles, a worldwide advertising agency. Mr. Burnett received
an A.B. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Dartmouth’s
Amos Tuck School.

Katherine
J. (Kathy) Harless has been president of Verizon Information
Services (VIS), the nation’s most advanced provider
of yellow pages and related shopping information, since 2000.
VIS publishes more than 1,100 SuperPages yellow pages directories
in 38 states and operates the nation’s number-one Internet
yellow pages, SuperPages.com, which now provides access to
merchandise information, shopping sites, product comparisons
and eBay auctions. VIS also offers listings, maps, driving
directions and an assortment of consumer services over cell
phones through SuperPages On the Go, which is available through
Verizon Wireless and through other carriers. VIS is also
the largest publisher of Hispanic directories in the U.S.
Prior to
being named VIS president, Harless served as president of
GTE Airfone, where she directed overall operations, including
the expansion of air-to-ground public telecommunications
services in the United States and other countries.
Harless began
her GTE career in 1973 in her hometown of San Angelo, Texas,
carrying out assignments of increasing responsibility in
finance, sales, marketing and operations before being named
regional president for GTE Telephone Operations in Texas
and New Mexico in 1994.
She serves
on the board of directors for the Yellow Pages Association,
the Toro Company and the Verizon Foundation. She also serves
on the advisory board of the University of Texas McCombs
School of Business and is a member of the Committee of 200
and Leadership America.
Harless earned
a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University
of Texas at Austin. |

Stubbs
President and Chief Executive Officer
YellowPages.com LLC
Charles Stubbs
is President and CEO of Pasadena, California-based YellowPages.com,
a joint venture between SBC Yellow Pages and BellSouth Advertising
and Publishing. The venture, announced in November of 2004,
will combine SBC SMARTpages.com, BellSouth® RealPages.com
and YellowPages.com under one intuitive brand – YellowPages.com
in 2005. Mr. Stubbs, will lead a company aimed at providing
a leading Internet Yellow Pages distribution network to SBC,
BellSouth and YellowPages.com local and national advertisers.
The YellowPages.com distribution network will provide more
than 70 million monthly searches to advertisers.
Prior to
being named President and CEO of YellowPages.com, Mr. Stubbs
served as President of BellSouth IntelliVentures, the electronic
media division of BellSouth Advertising and Publishing Group,
which produced substantial advertiser and revenue growth
for RealPages.com, from 2001 until 2004. From 1996 to 1999
Mr. Stubbs worked with BellSouth as a key leader in the launch
of RealPages.com.
Before leading
the BellSouth RealPages.com team, Mr. Stubbs was Executive
Vice President of Infospace, a Bellevue, Washington-based
diversified technology and services company that develops
and markets Internet and wireless solutions for a wide range
of customers including consumers, merchants, wireless operators,
content brands, and financial institutions. In this role,
Mr. Stubbs was responsible for the company’s wireline
division, including advertising and licensing revenue. Mr.
Stubbs succeeded in leading significant increases in revenues,
while reducing operating expenses.
Mr. Stubbs
earned an M.B.A from Vanderbilt University in Nashville,
TN and an undergraduate degree from Cornell University.
Charles and
his wife Debbie are the proud parents of two daughters.
