Fox Interactive Media is living proof that old line media companies can “get it.” The company has made a spectacular splash with MySpace, and is now focused on localizing and verticalizing the site (which continues to have three times the traffic of Facebook). Head of technology, Adam Bain, a local media leader dating back to Advance Newspapers, is spearheading the efforts. He will share a blueprint for verticalizing social media.
