Princeton, NJ (July 19, 2007) --
The Kelsey Group, the leading provider of research, data and strategic
analysis on directories, small-business advertising and local online
media, today announced the appointment of three new analysts: Peter
Krasilovsky, program director and senior analyst; Stephen Marshall,
director of research and senior analyst; and Michael Taylor, senior
analyst, Global Print and Internet Directories practice.
“The addition of Peter, Steve and Michael
to our analyst team solidly positions us to support the growing
demand for our research, consulting and advisory services,”
said Neal Polachek, senior vice president, advisory services, research
and consulting, The Kelsey Group. “Our clients operating in
the Yellow Pages, electronic directories and local online media
markets will surely benefit from the combined expertise these analysts
bring to The Kelsey Group.”
For Krasilovsky, an independent consultant and undisputed
local online media authority, this is a return to The Kelsey Group.
Krasilovsky was the program director of the firm’s Local Online
Commerce practice from 1998 to 2001. He managed The Kelsey Group’s
Drilling Down on Local conference earlier this year and has been
a regular contributor to the firm’s Local Media Blog. In his
new role, he will be program director for a planned advisory service.
He will also manage the ILM:07 conference. Krasilovsky has been
immersed in interactive media since the mid-1980s. He earned his
master’s degree in communications management at USC Annenberg
School for Communication.
Marshall has been working with The Kelsey Group
as a consultant since 1996. As director of research and senior analyst,
he will manage the firm’s research initiatives and support
proprietary consulting projects. Marshall has 25 years of experience
in management consulting and, through Marshall Associates, has specialized
in telecommunications and new media. Previously, he was assistant
vice president of corporate strategy for Pacific Telesis. Marshall
earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Taylor has been working with The Kelsey Group on
a consulting basis for over a year. As a senior analyst, he will
advise clients of the firm’s Global Print and Internet Yellow
Pages practice and will author reports and advisories. He will also
support proprietary consulting projects. Taylor brings to the firm
best practice, audit and due diligence experience in sales and marketing.
Previously, he was managing director and marketing director for
The Berry Co.’s Sales and Marketing Solutions group, an international
sales and marketing management consulting division. Taylor holds
a B.A. in marketing and communications from Bowling Green State
University in Ohio.
