News: A new European company,, is building a global, Yellow Pages-like service around a search convention using "only-" followed by a keyword describing the desired search. For example, someone searching for local businesses would enter "only-hotels," if that person were looking for a place to stay, or "only-food," if she were looking for a place to eat. The company has created 3,000 Web sites based on such keywords, including 850 city sites covering most of the developed world. promotes its service as "the first truly global Yellow Pages and search engine combined."

The company's revenue model relies on merchants entering their own free records through "" This is followed by an upsell to an enhanced record for $19.95 per year, or Web sites that range in price from $50 to $100. also sells sponsorships and keyword banners on a pay-for-performance basis.

The company is based in Monaco and has offices in France, Switzerland, the UK and the U.S.
