Research Analyst, The Kelsey Report
writes in-depth research papers for The Kelsey Report. She has been
covering the directory and local online commerce industries as a
business journalist and analyst for more than five years.
For four years,
she was a writer and editor for Link Magazine, a leading trade publication
covering the Yellow Pages publishing industry. As a member of the
former Pets.com editorial team, she experienced the rise and fall
of the dot-com industry. While at Pets.com, she served as managing
editor of Pets.com, The Magazine, a bi-monthly print publication
with a circulation of more than 950,000 and an annual publishing
budget of more than $2 million. The magazine was the largest pet
magazine in circulation, and one of Pets.com's most effective and
innovative customer-acquisition tools.
Carlotta worked closely with business leaders from around the globe
as editor of the alumni magazine at the Kellogg Graduate School
of Management at Northwestern University. For three years she worked
at Kellogg, writing in-depth feature stories about innovative management
trends and cutting-edge business research and practice. She also
worked as a reporter and copy editor at The Daily Camera in Boulder,
CO, and the Journal Sentinel in Milwaukee, WI.
Carlotta graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern
University in 1995. She currently lives in San Francisco and is
working on her first novel.
